Long Range Night Vision Camera Module
0.001 lx @ 10 fps starlight imaging, 4250 m person detection, 110 mm ABF fixed-mount EO camera.
Long-Range Starlight Surveillance with Auto Back Focus
What It Is
The XHM2110C-ABF is an ultra low light electro-optical surveillance camera of the Ultra Low Light EO Surveillance Camera class, integrating a 0.8-inch CMOS sensor with 5.8 µm pixel pitch and a 110 mm equivalent high-aperture lens to deliver 24/7 full-colour night imaging under natural starlight without auxiliary illumination.
Performance
The XHM2110C-ABF achieves a minimum effective illumination of 0.001 lx at 10 fps and 0.0004 lx at 2 fps, with a dynamic range of 72 dB (WDR off) expandable to 84–120 dB with WDR active. Person-target DRI performance is 4250 m detection, 1060 m recognition, and 660 m identification at day and night, measured per US NVESD methodology against a 1.7 m × 0.5 m human target. AI video analytics activates at ≥ 265 m with manual zoom capable of tripling that range.
Key Technical Features
- Auto Back Focus (ABF) with motorised remote adjustment enables deployment in elevated or confined access locations without on-site focus calibration.
- ONVIF / RTSP / PELCO protocol support and HTTP API provide broad VMS compatibility across enterprise surveillance platforms.
- Multi-frame low-noise image processing and rolling shutter CMOS deliver frame rates from 2 to 30 fps with automatic gain control across all modes.
- Internal storage of up to 128 GB with optional WebRTC licensing enables standalone edge recording and remote access.
Platform Compatibility
The XHM2110C-ABF is designed for fixed-mount deployment on mast-mount surveillance pedestals, perimeter towers, and border monitoring infrastructure. Its RJ45, WiFi, and optional 4G interfaces support integration with centralised ONVIF-compliant VMS platforms and remote command centres.
Starlight Full-Colour Imaging
The XHM2110C-ABF employs a large-format 0.8-inch CMOS sensor with 5.8 µm pixel pitch and a high-aperture F1.2 lens to collect maximum available light under starlight conditions. This enables continuous 24/7 full-colour video without any auxiliary illumination source.
Long-Range DRI Performance
Detection, recognition, and identification distances are validated against a 1.7 m × 0.5 m human target using US NVESD measurement standards. The sensor and optics combination achieves 4250 m detection, 1060 m recognition, and 660 m identification at day and night.
Auto Back Focus Remote Focus
ABF provides motorised remote focus adjustment via the network interface, eliminating the need for on-site technicians to set focus during installation or environmental changes. This reduces installation cost on elevated masts and towers.
Adaptive Frame Rate Exposure
The camera supports multiple automatic exposure modes, stepping from 30/25 fps to 10, 5, or 2 fps as illumination decreases, reaching 0.0004 lx minimum effective illumination at 2 fps. Dynamic range extends from 72 dB to 120 dB with WDR enabled.

Designed for the Field
Long-Range Border and Perimeter Surveillance
The XHM2110C-ABF provides continuous 24/7 full-colour starlight imaging at detection ranges reaching 4250 m, purpose-built for border surveillance and perimeter security.
Critical Infrastructure Protection
Its low-illumination imaging and ABF remote focus capability make it suitable for critical infrastructure sites where night-time monitoring continuity is essential.
OEM and System Integration
The corresponding XHM2110M-ABF module variant enables system integrators to embed the same imaging core into custom enclosures and platforms with identical performance.
Border and Perimeter Surveillance
The XHM2110C-ABF is optimised for long-range border surveillance and perimeter security where targets must be detected, recognised, and identified at distances exceeding one kilometre under starlight conditions. Its 24/7 full-colour output eliminates the visibility gap between day and night operations that limits conventional low-light cameras. With a detection range of 4250 m and a recognition range of 1060 m against a 1.7 m × 0.5 m human target, the camera meets the operational requirements of manned borders, secured perimeters, and remote frontier posts validated under US NVESD methodology.
- Detection Range (Person): ≥ 4250 m
- Recognition Range (Person): ≥ 1060 m
